Every year, millions of people in Pakistan suffer from the harsh effects of winter. Temperatures can drop below freezing, and many people do not have adequate shelter or clothing to protect themselves. It can lead to serious health problems and even death.

During winter, vulnerable families face many challenges, such as cold, low temperatures, and extreme weather conditions. Hundreds of impoverished and displaced families need our support to survive the next few months. With urgent aid, they might make it. Let’s come together and help these families in need.
The change in weather brings many problems for those living in squalid conditions. Freezing, cold, and harsh winds are nobody’s friends. However, the situation is even more critical for the poverty-stricken families. The flood affected displaced families living in makeshift camps and the needy families living in inadequate homes – they need your help.
By providing them with essential winter items like warm clothes, thermal blankets, nourishing food parcels, medical aid, hygiene, and fuel supplies – we can make this winter tolerable for people in need.
What Can We Do?
Many families in underdeveloped countries and regions, especially those affected by floods, lack the necessities to face the cruel winter months ahead. Many might only make it partially. Without urgent humanitarian assistance, the future seems bleak for thousands of families in dire need.
FRDP works in some of the most underdeveloped and hard-to-reach areas to provide crucial aid to the most disadvantaged. FRDP’s Winter Relief Programme aims to relieve the most vulnerable segments of the population, including pregnant women, children, the elderly, people with disabilities, displaced families, and people living in hard-to-reach areas.
